Now offering private and semi-private lessons! We are excited to be able to offer your dances more online learning opportunities. Your dancer can take private lessons for many different goals. We will be offering exam prep for acro, Irish Dance and Ballet. Your dancer can also take private lessons just for fun and exercise. Or your dancer might work with an instructor to choreograph a solo routine to enter in online video competitions. We are here to help you with whatever goals your dancer may have. Privates are 30 minutes per lesson.
Acrobatic Arts will be offering online acro exams. The exam date is June 23rd 2020. Our instructors are available for private and semi-private lessons for acro exam prep. All students both recreational and competitive who took acro or Thursday Tiny Circus School this past season can qualify. Students will learn the syllabus and if ready may enroll in online exams. Acrobatic Arts is a great programme that values proper technique and pre-requisites. The programme balances stretch and strength with readiness to learn.
WIDA Irish Dance Exams. I have been informed that WIDA will allow online Irish dance grade exams for grade 1 through 7. They will not allow this until we are able to do ceili dances together (i.e. dance in small groups of approx 6). Our instructors are available to work with your student on Irish dance exam prep at whatever level your dancer is at. Private Irish Dance lessons can be taken even if a student is not interested in exams. We still have not received our certificates from last round. I have been told they were sent, however never received. I will make sure we do receive these (or they are re-issued) once some restrictions are lifted.
RAD Ballet exams prep classes are offered to any students currently registered in our ballet classes with Miss Beth. The RAD has just realized guidelines for video exams. We are currently in talks with RAD admin gaining further details.
